We warmed up with half scales and a review of basic musical notation.
I introduced the full octave C major scale using right and left hands separately, as well as together.
From the Teaching Little Fingers How to Play book, we read notes middle C, D, and E, applying them by playing Stepping and Skipping, Birthday Party, and Sandman’s Near.
Ben did a very good job in class. He used good technique, and focused very well.
