GT and I continued our study of the novel. GT spent two weeks this summer in England and the novel is set in Swindon, so he adds some interesting commentary. We use the study guide questions as a springboard for our discussion. GT also wrote his double journal entry as a response to the section that we read. We also discussed how the double journal entries complete with quotes will be helpful when we write the final analysis of the novel. Then GT and I completed lesson 2 in the vocabulary book. I introduced the words, and GT completed the application activities that followed. He does quite well with the advanced level vocabulary.
