Abby and I continued our study of the novel. It is an example of informational text because it is a true story. We have a lot of good discussion about the content. We use the study guide questions as a springboard for our discussion. Abby also chooses a quote for each section and writes a double journal entry explaining her interpretation of the quote. We also reviewed correct MLA in text citation. Abby will write a double journal entry for homework based on the section we
completed this afternoon.
