Christoper was tasked with completing learning activities using different approaches to assess his knowledge of cardinal directions. We will continue to practice this and I will introduce IXL to his learning tomorrow in efforts to reinforce and consolidate learning gains. Christopher was amenable to this suggestion.

I don't know the specifics, but Christopher said he had a very bad day. He was initially reluctant to talk about it but commented that it had to do with Dutch tagging him during recess. He made some self-denigrating comments which we reflected on briefly and he commented that he believes he is smart but, in essence, shared that he dislikes/is afraid of failure. I allowed him some time to share his latest Marvel movie aspirations with me and he thanked and hugged me upon leaving saying he felt better. He was going to Jayne's house for a play date, which I learned upon dismissal.
