Lesson Topic
Continued learning from the Teaching Little Fingers to Play book
Lesson Outline
Zeta did well as always. This time I asked her if she would reconsider playing "Home on the Range". I think she said yes because Ms. Judie had heard it when I played it on Thursday and loved it. She continued with the last two songs in the book. She picked up the second to the last song very easily even though the execution was different from any other song in the book. In reality it is more like real music. The last song in the book requires that the student play both hands together. This is a challenge for every student. She recognized where she needed to concentrate more and it became easier as she applied herself even more. Next Thursday we will finish the book and begin the new book either Thursday or next Monday.

Lesson Comments
Zeta consented to play "Home on the Range" due to your love for the song's melody. She concentrated very well and the following song came easier to her even though it was totally different from all the others. It actually was written like what she will be playing in about three the six months. The last song was the most challenging one because it required playing both hands together at the same time. She will probably master it by Thursday. We might begin our new book on Thursday or next Monday. As always she accepts challenges without complaining.
