Zeta has started learning six Christmas songs, however, they are not mastered so we decided to play all of them. I told her that we will need to continue playing them again next week so that her performance can improve. I am not asking for perfection but would like to see her improvement each week. Right now she is still not registering when to play the notes in the bass clef. She needs more practice. She has improved on her rhythm values, and has always done well on fingering and tempo. If it wasn't for her confusion of when to play the left hand the notes would be fine. She knows when to change her hand position. Therefore, she is just missing a small piece of the over-all piano performance to do better.
