GT and I discussed his double journal entry for this chapter. We then continued reading and studying the next two chapters of the novel. We discovered some very difficult vocabulary. We tried to define the words using context clues, but eventually had to use a dictionary. GT will write a double journal entry for the next chapter for homework.
