Session Date
Lesson Topic
Elastic and inelastic collisions
Lesson Outline
Marcel and I worked on a problem which we had started in the last session dealing with an inelastic collision. I then instructed him to do another problem in inelastic collisions which he did. After that, I explained how kinetic energy is not conserved in inelastic collisions because some energy is lost to heat. I proceeded to explain the difference between elastic collisions and inelastic collisions and worked one elastic collision for Marcel. There was no assignment.
