Today we reviewed presidents Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin D. Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy, Ronald Reagan and Barack Obama. Jonathan completed a fact sheet, filling in the blanks to refine his ability to refer back to the packet to find answers. We also learned that Franklin D. Roosevelt is on the dime and reviewed which presidents are on the penny, nickel, and quarter. Lastly, we discussed the history of the flag, its nicknames, what the colors stand for, and what the flag symbolizes - the people, the land, and the freedom of the USA.
