Jonathan began a new section in his Ready Classroom Mathematics book. He is learning to sort and count objects into groups based on shared attributes, such as color, shape, or type. The acquisition of these skills will help develop Jonathan's ability to collect, organize, and make sense of information. When tasked with using data with up to three categories, Jonathan demonstrated a good ability to make a tally chart, a number chart, and a picture graph, and enjoyed the challenge of doing so.
