This morning we discussed the subject of metamorphosis and life cycels. Arianna experienced a
hands-on/living example of a native insect species that has an interesting life cycle - the lubber grasshopper. I found some young grasshoppers in my yard to bring in for this lesson. Arianna will create a model of their life cycle using clay models over the next week or so.
