Today's lesson focused on the life cycle of the local species of grasshopper, the lubber grasshopper. Arianna will construct a model of the life cycle using photographs and clay models to display the life cycles of this species. We discussed how the incomplete metamorphosis of the grasshopper differs from the complete metamorphosis of a butterfly.
