We wrapped up our unit on logarithms with a puzzle activity that Alexa enjoyed.
I introduced RIght Triangle Trigonometry to her. In a right triangle, there are relationships between the angles and the sides. These relationships are defined by Sine, Cosine, and Tangent. The Sine of an angle = The length of the Opposite side/ length of Hypotenuse. The Cosine of an angle = The length of the Adjacent side/length of Hypotenuse. The Tangent of an angle = The length of the Opposite side/the length of the Adjacent side. I introduced these concepts to Alexa, and we will continue working with them during our next session.
