types of chemical reactions
Lesson Outline
The 2 remaining types of chemical reactions were outlined. They were a single replacement reaction and a double replacement reaction. Examples of each were given in both word and chemical reaction form. Single replacement being A + BC = B + AC, with an example from a previous lab we performed. The double replacement was shown by the general formula AB + CD = AD + CB. A previous lab reaction was also used. Two YouTube videos were shared to show some interesting demonstrations of both types of reactions.
