The magnetic filed and the gravitational field were discussed and reviewed as a lead into the electric field. They were shown to be forces acting at a distance. The charges on atomic particles were reviewed, and the attraction and repulsion of charged particles shown also to exist as force at a distance. The concept of an electric field was used to describe the force. That the force was a vector quantity was explained, and a short video used to help visualize the concept of the field.
