She used the area formula to find the area of rectangles, found the length of missing sides using the given information, found the area of two parts before taking one away from the other, and found the area of irregular shapes by breaking them into two parts and finding the area of both before adding. Then, she completed addition and subtraction mental math minutes, solved long division problems with and without remainders, and multiplied fractions.
