Lesson Outline
Today, Arianna and I used number lines to name distances in both fractions and decimals. Arianna counted the distance between 2 whole numbers to determine the denominator before counting to the given point for the numerator. She also divided number lines into 10 equal parts to represent decimals to the tenths place. Then, a mental math minute was completed on basic addition and subtraction facts as well as long division practice and 3-digit number patterns.
