Review what a series circuit involves. Work with the formula of how to determine the total resistance of a series circuit and solve for total resistance when 2-3 resistors are in the series. Examine how a parallel circuit is arranged, and how it differs from a series circuit. Show how the current flows through different pathways in a parallel circuit, allowing all bulbs to remain lit if one goes out.
