This morning we continued to discuss the history of modern day humans with a video about our dispersal from Africa: https://youtu.be/xmboVmtqNJc?list=PLi6K9w_UbfFSxHPEDWcXxIxSA6gDR4OeZ. We also completed a short science activity called "dancing fruit" with dried cranberries, tap water, and carbonated water. When placed into the soda water the dried fruit will drift up and down as the carbon-dioxide molecules attach to the fruit and then as the gas leaves the water the fruit will fall back down. The fruit sinks and remains at the bottom of the glass of tap water.
