This afternoon we completed an animal/biome spotlight lesson on the Arctic. Zeta selected this topic and asked specifically to learn more about the walrus. We discussed the adaptations of Arctic dwelling animals and Zeta provided specific examples. She also completed a learning activity to practice vocabulary such as biome, adaptation, boreal, and hibernation. We watched a couple short videos during today's lesson to see examples of different Arctic animals.
