I began by introducing five vocabulary words drawn from Chapter 6 of the novel Ready Player One. Ayden's homework is to look up the definitions, paying particular attention to the part of speech. I included the page number where each word is found and encouraged Ayden to read the sentence for context.

I prepared five short answer questions covering Chapters 1-5. Ayden used Google Docs to complete the questions in class; we discussed as he wrote. We co-read Chapter 6, in part using LearningAlly to confirm that the update Ayden installed worked (it did.)

Ayden's homework is to read/listen to Chapter 7.
