Richard practiced writing the letters n and h and the number 6 in correct formation. He read a brief story entitled, 'We Can' and then created another page to his own 'I Can' book. In phonics, we continue to practice blending words with the short a sound. Richard enjoyed listening to a book and answering literal and inferential questions. He did well following directions that included position words. Richard uses his fingers or manipulatives when adding numbers to the sum of 6. He enjoys closing his eyes and marking random numbers on a 100 grid. He is getting better at reading the numbers he has marked.
