Lesson Outline
Hank and I began our session with completing his planning sheet. We brainstormed ideas for his three reasons. Hank used the article to refer to when coming up with his reasons. We watched a video focusing on writing an introduction. Hank then had five minutes to complete his hook/grabber. Hank referred back to his notes that we took on "hook." This made me very happy. He chose to start with a question for his hook. Hank then completed his introduction. I reviewed his introduction with him and we discussed what he could have left out to include in his body paragraphs.
