Richard did well reading his sight words and determining the short vowel sound in three letter words. We continue to practice identifying the initial and final sounds of words, determining if words rhyme and counting the words in a sentence. He enjoyed listening to, "My Principal is a Frog'. Focus was on setting, genre, characters and print elements. Richard did well naming different pairs of addends for given sums and identifying and naming numbers 0-20. He had fun following silly two-step directions.
