Lesson Outline
Richard did well reading three letter words. He continues to practice identifying initial and final sounds, blending, segmenting and substituting. He really enjoyed listening to 'Grandpa Bud'. Focus was on setting, sequence, main character and genre. Print elements were reviewed. Fact vs. opinion was discussed. Given statements, Richard was tasked with determining if the statements were facts or opinions. We continue to practice telling time to the hour, number recognition 0-20 and days of the week. The strategy of 'counting on' for adding was introduced.

Lesson Comments
Richard was on a computer today, which worked much better than an IPad or phone. He seemed to pick up the difference between fact and opinion quickly. He loved the story!
