First session, so also discussed goals, Sebastian said his mother wants him to learn French. Encouraged enthusiasm for subject with personal stories of learning French. Student was alert and responsive to repeating back greetings and we will focus next week on words that are the same or similar in both French and English to help student learn the accents.
