Richard did well identifying and writing the vowel sound heard in given pictures. Sight words were reviewed. Richard worked hard to read a short book comprised of one syllable, short vowel words and sight words. He enjoyed listening to a story and answering questions related to genre, setting, problem and solution. He confidently told time to the hour. Given two pictures, Richard determined which activity pictured would take more (and then less) time. He enjoyed using flashcards to practice adding numbers to the a sum of up to 10.
