Richard practiced writing V, W, X, Y and the number 10 with correct formation and sizing. He did well reading short u vowel words and matching them to the corresponding pictures. Richard enjoyed listening to a story about a boy who wanted a tyrannasaurus rex as a pet. Richard was asked to identify print and plot elements. He drew a picture of a ficticous animal he would like to have and then dictated sentences explaining why. Richard confidently arranged pictures in a time ordered sequence. He did very well with concepts of wide and narrow. Additionally, he practiced writing numbers 1-10 by writing how many objects he counted in different pictures.
