Science - We learned how to compare and contrast. We discovered that comparing 2 things shows how they are alike and contrasting them shows how they are different. We compared and contrasted apples and oranges. They are both fruits, round, and have seeds. They have a different color and covering. Then we compared a basketball and a soccer ball. Comparing them they are both round, can be thrown, and are for sports. The contrast is a basketball is bounced into a net several feet above the ground and a soccer ball is kicked into a net on the ground. Their texture and color is different too.
