Richard read a short book entitled, 'Dan and the Fan'. He benefits from encouragement to sound the words out, rather than guess based on the pictures. He did well sorting pictures based on the short vowel sound they contained. We contnue to practice rhyme recognition, initial and final sounds and segmenting, adding and substituting phonemes. Richard practiced writing c and o with proper spacing. He enjoyed a game of 'Connect 4 Addition'. The concept of symmetry was introduced and practiced.
