Lesson Outline
Richard enjoyed listening to and acting out, 'We're Going On A Bear Hunt'. Plot elements were identified and discussed. Richard drew a picture in his journal and wrote a sentence. He is dictating the rest of the story, which we will work on again tomorrow. R-blends and sight words were practiced. Given sets, Richard did well separating them into halves. We continue to practice reciting the months of the year. Richard confidently identified matching parts of given shapes.

Lesson Comments
Richard is resistent to practicing letter writing, stating that he knows how. He tends to 'float' his letters and I am encouraging him to use the lines to space the letters.
