Lesson Outline
Given either capital or lower case letters, Richard was tasked with writing the corresponding letter. In phonics, we continue to practice identifying and reading r, s and l blends. When reading a story, Richard benefited from encouragement to blend the whole word. He did very well on sentence dictation. We continue to work on spacing between words. Given 5 random numbers, Richard worked to put the numbers in order from least to greatest. He is becoming more confident adding numbers to the sum of 12.

Lesson Comments
I was really impressed with Richard's ability to order the numbers from least to greatest. I thought he might need a 100 chart to complete the activity, but he reasoned it out without the chart.
