Lesson Outline
Richard enjoyed listening to the folktale, 'The Mud Monster'. He quickly identified the lesson, problem and solution of the story. Richard did well summarizing the plot. Richard wrote in his journal that he was going to own a soda company and be a chef when he got older. He did well with rhyme production, initial, medial and final sound identification and phoneme manipulation. Richard confidently identified measurement concepts of biggest, smallest, longest and largest. Medium sized was introduced. Richard worked hard ordering given numbers from least to greatest and completing a spiral review of skills learned. He used the counting up method to complete math problems. Additionally, he enjoyed working on sight words online.
