Lesson Outline
Sadee enjoyed making the letters of the alphabet using curved and straight pieces of wood. She practiced writing her name and tracing the letters o, i, u and e. The dry erase board was used to practice reading and writing words in the -at and -ap families. We read, 'The Cat, The Rat and The Baseball Bat' together. Sadee read all the -at words in the story. She did well on a cut and paste activity in which she glued the initial letter of -ap words to match the given pictures. Sadee is a delight!
