Piero began the session with a review of prepositions in context. He wrote sentences using prepositions and answered questions from a picture that required the correct usage of prepositions. I then showed him an intriguing picture of a cat and a dog. I started the short story. We each took turns writing a sentence about the picture, as we developed the story. We concluded the session using -ing verbs in sentences.
