Lesson Outline
Long vowel sounds were utilized in rhyme production, initial and medial sound identification and phoneme manipulation. Richard read a story that focused on the -at word family. He did well matching words with pictures and completing sentences about the text. Richard was excited to tell me about his Easter. He drew a picture and wrote about Easter. We continue to work on word spacing. Richard confidently counted pennies and wrote the monetary value. He enjoyed determining if given objects would fit in given containers. Reading numbers and number identification was practiced. Additionally, Richard completed a spiral practice.
