Max is fairly advanced as far as developing an interest and style. Takes initiative asking for lessons on sketching, figure drawing and developing ideas, if he feels he needs it to continue the project. We are going to start doing a more advanced shading exercise and figure study with him at the start of every class as a warm up. He's worried about completing the painting before he leaves so we'll do shorter exercises and more frequently so that he can still get them done but focus more on his 4 panels.
