Richard did well reading one syllable, short vowel words with an initial blend. We continue to work on reading words with long a and final e. Richard enjoyed listening to the ending of 'Caps for Sale'. Print and plot elements were identified and discussed. In addition, Richard drew pictures of the problem and solution of the story. He worked hard on sentence dictation. Richard practiced adding and subtracting, as well as determining the monetary value of groups of nickels and pennies.
