These words included two and three-syllable words, words ending with /kt,/ and basewords with the suffixes ed, s, and ing. Kellan scored 15/15 on this test. Next Kellan took a reading test on nonsense words. He scored 15/15. Kellan had a spelling test using fifteen words from lessons 3.1-3.5. Kellan scored 15/15 on this test. Kellan had a spelling test on nonsense words from lesson 3.1-3.5 and got 15/15. Kellan has successfully completed Book 3. He should be congratulated! For the remainder of the period, Kellan and I read Because of Winn Dixie. Kellan read paragraphs alternatingly with me. This is the first time he has had the confidence to do this.
