Ben was clearly disappointed that Marcus was not at school for his regularly scheduled time. I explained to Ben that he would still have the same amount of time with Marcus, just a half hour later. Ben refused to do anything. After saying he would not do what I had planned, I gave him other options. He said no to each one. I asked him what he would like to do and he said nothing.
