Lesson Topic
3D Modeling Software
Lesson Outline
Cabo was introduced to a 3D modeling software program called 3DC.io.
He was given a brief time to explore the program and its capabilities.
He was then asked to create his interpretation of a snowman with at least 6 parts, 3 different shapes, and two colors. During his creation of the snowman he continued to discover additional functionalities of the software (such as the resize function). Cabo exhibited his investment in the activity by going back and retouching parts of his creation once new functionalites were discovered.
Cabo was required to save his file.
He did an excellent job of staying off his computer today.
Lastly, Cabo was asked to brainstorm objects that he may want to print off in the future.
The ideas discussed included a Castle/House/Tree for his lizard enclosures, a small plastic lizard, a base for his computer, a chess piece.
