Matthew had questions about standardized tests and how their scoring varies from other tests. We addressed those questions in general terms.

Matthew and I discussed some of the metrics that are used to gauge intelligence such as the intelligence quotient test.

We discussed measures and types of intelligence. We discussed some of the other standardized tests and their content. We took a sample test to get a feel for different question types such as spatial reasoning, numerical progressions and the like.

We reviewed the work that Matthew needs to complete at home prior tonight and made sure he had all the needed materials.
