Lesson Topic
Synthesis and Analysis of information
Lesson Outline
Kaitlin and I discussed the importance of learning to question and/or assess the credibility of sources when reviewing hypothetical problems and situations that typically arise at school or daily life. Kaitlin demonstrated an astute and intuitive ability to know when more information is needed before drawing conclusions. She was able to recognize different points of view and showed a good ability to synthesize and integrate information and recognize the need for considering multiple perspectives before making a decision or arriving at a solution. I was impressed by Kaitlin's sensitivity and capacity to evaluate situations using criteria, and her ability to form opinions with supporting evidence. We had a wonderfully productive exchange of ideas this half hour.

Lesson Comments
I subbed for Kaitlin while Lisa was talking to Ms. Judie after lunch. I worked with her for 1/2 hour - together with Chris Tisi, who I had for an hour.
