Lesson Outline
Matthew studied his vocabulary for his upcoming test for 5 minutes.
He then submitted his homework. We discussed the homework and the words that he chose to highlight. I showed him the grading process that I use so that he can understand how to perform well on future assignments.
Matthew was then given a brief span of time to study for his Oral Performance. After practicing, he delivered from memory a key passage from his "El Golf" book.
He was given three attempts to attain the highest grade possible. His first attempt would have earned him a high B or low A. He then made a second attempt and earned a near perfect score.
We finished the session by continuing to summarize the paragraphs that we had translated before.
