I edited Jayne's creative writing story. It is very impressive. I circled the literary devices, similes, metaphors and word choices that enhanced the tone of her story and appealed to the senses, making her imagery even more vivid and intriguing. Jayne accepted the compliments modestly. We reviewed some minor edits in spelling, and comma usage - and Jayne is making the corrections in her draft. She will begin working on Chapter 4 when she gets new ideas. Jayne explains that the ideas just pop in her head and she writes freely when they do; she explained she does not have any pre-conceived plan in mind. She does seem gratified with her work and is receptive to the few grammatical suggestions offered.
