Matthew and I started the class with a discussion that was held primarily in Spanish on my part and English on his part.

We discussed golf and the Honda classic for approximately 10 minutes. Matthew demonstrated understanding of the words and phrases that I used. He was attentive and responsive. He continues to build his verbal communication skills.

Matthew then reviewed quickly for his test on Monday.

Then, we read from his supplemental text. His mental stamina when we approach a new text continues to improve.

He was given time to address unknown words and phrases.
