Matthew and I discussed the list of vocabulary that he has been compiling as he has been reading his Golf book.
We discussed which of those words were most essential to modern conversational Spanish.
In the process, we generated a precise list of words that he will be tested on. We cleaned up any errors that were present in his list (i.e. spelling, plurality, etc.) He was given some options for the format of the test. He made choices that seemed consistent with his personal strengths.
He then studied those words.
