Lesson Outline
Wonderful to see Bella today for the 2nd half of first period. History is being made this week during Judge Brown Jackson's confirmation hearing. The nomination of a judge to become a Supreme Court Justice is made by our executive branch - the U.S. president. The nominee must then be approved of by the Senate via Q & A hearings. We took a brief look at the process. We also reviewed politics & life in the U.S. at the end of the 19th century.
