Review Irregulars - Engage with Spanish
Lesson Outline
We continued our conversation from last session about Preterite and Imperfect irregulars.
Matthew was then encouraged to find engaging content via a Spanish search engine. He pursued two fantastic ideas. First, he researched how to put the subtitles for his YouTube videos in Spanish. We watched a portion of a golf tutorial in Spanish. We stopped and discussed key vocabulary and interesting sentences.
Then, he searched for interviews with golfers in Spanish. We found an interview of a native Spanish speaker who has just won the Mexican Open. Matthew identified the accent as one of Spanish nationality. He made comments about key words during the interview.
The interview was riddled with the past participle. We used this interview as an opportunity to review this conjugation.
