Today we began to learn about the Tudor Dynasty and King Henry VIII as a young king - still married to his first wife, Catherine of Aragon. Joshua did not know that Henry VIII was the father of Queen Elizabeth I. Joshua is very interested in and wants to learn more about European History. I shared that 10th grade Modern World History is a really comprehensive and interesting course and it covers vast events and time periods in European history, as well. We will continue to look at 16th century Europe,changing dynasties and geographic borders throughout the week.
